&Beyond Phinda Mountain Lodge comprises 25 suites, all of which are positioned to ensure absolute privacy. Each suite boasts a private plunge pool and a verandah from which to admire the lodge’s spectacular views, in addition to a refreshing outdoor shower. Inside, the suites feature a spacious sitting room and a luxurious king-sized bed. Two rooms interconnect to create a Family Suite, whilst an extra child’s bed can be added to most rooms upon request.

Dining
Mealtimes at &Beyond Phinda Mountain Lodge may take the form of an al fresco feast served on the hotel’s tiered verandah, a sumptuous buffet served in its indoor dining room, or a surprise treat served out in the bush itself. &Beyond Phinda Mountain Lodge also features a traditional stone and reed boma, where mouthwatering African meals are served under the stars by the light of a dozen lanterns and candles.
Kids
Children are more than welcome at &Beyond Phinda Mountain Lodge, which boasts a Family Suite and a specialised children’s programme. The Family Suite is capable of accommodating two adults and four children under the age of sixteen, and includes the exclusive use of a safari vehicle so that game drives can be tailored to the shorter attention spans of younger children. &Beyond Phinda Mountain Lodge also features a limited number of triple rooms that allow for the addition of an extra bed for one child aged sixteen years or younger.
When not staying in the Family Suite, game drives are available to children aged twelve and over, and to children aged between six and twelve at the lodge manager’s discretion. For children younger than six years old, professional childminders can be arranged at an additional cost. Upon arrival at &Beyond Phinda Mountain Lodge, all children receive a WILDchild gift bag, complete with a logbook, crayons, pencils and a paw-print tattoo.
