Summary
Located in the northern part of the Central Kalahari Game Reserve, Kalahari Plains Camp is ideally situated to take in the vast, serene landscape. Each suite is tastefully decorated and includes a luxurious bedroom and lounge area, as well as an elevated ‘sala’ to enjoy daytime game viewing and allow for stargazing at night. The Kalahari’s wildlife includes a variety of desert game species including the brown hyena, oryx and bat eared fox along with predators such as lion and cheetah that are regularly spotted in the area. Enjoy game drives in the surrounding wild to take in the Acacia landscapes and unforgettable red sunsets shimmering over the horizon. The camp includes a communal pool, raised guest area with spotting scope and open campfire where guests can relax after dinner as they share their amusing tales of wildlife encounters experienced on safari.
