Dining is taken very seriously at Le Quartier – their signature restaurant, The Tasting Room, regularly features in South Africa’s top 5 restaurants and the Garden Room and Lounge Bar are also very popular. One of the first properties to open in Franschhoek, and still a corner stone for the village. The four quarter suites are like mini-villas, but those without the budget should try to get into one of the snug rooms in the adjacent Delicious building. The Tasting Room is the flagship eaterie, but be prepared to book well in advance for the 8–course tasting menu, and allow at least three hours to enjoy it.
